Claire Pettengill is a dedicated harpist with over fifteen years of experience performing in ensembles, accompaniments, and at private events.



Claire’s services extend throughout Los Angeles and San Diego Counties. She has performed in private parties, weddings, funerals, baby showers, bridal showers, and more. Claire is an experienced harp and music theory teacher. She is available for private lessons upon request.



A native San Diegan, Claire has wanted to play the harp since the age of four. She began taking lessons at the age of eight and studied with harpists Lea Bennet, Paul Hurst, and Sylvia Rae. She continued her studies with LA Phil's Lou Anne Neill at UCLA. In addition, she has also studied with world-renowned harpists Skaila Kanga, Milda Agazaria, and Ursula Holliger.



At UCLA, she performed in orchestra and chamber ensembles with a focus in works by Debussy, Mozart, and Ravel. Claire has also recorded studio performances for album productions.
